Country Style Living Room – West Bridgford

We designed this living room in West Bridgford with a nod to country style influences. The design style was tailored to our clients’ own personal taste and lifestyle.

A country style in interiors is a very versatile style and it was tweaked to match the client’s requirements.

The scheme comprises of light neutral tones reflected in walls and wool carpets to give a laid-back feel. This in turn gave ample options with the furnishings. For these, we chose darker tones to create a contrast and make the large living room feel cosy.

On one end other living we created a cosy book nook in the corner whereby our client can settle down with a good book plumped with comfy cushions. This chilled spot is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of fine wine!.

With a bit of spatial and lighting planning added in, this country living room effortlessly works a comfortable and elegant scheme.

For the furnishings we purposely chose mismatched furniture and objects that mix well with a selection of cushions to add depth to the overall country look.

The overall scheme resulted in a welcoming and relaxing space to enjoy that proves that you needn’t be in the country to achieve the country look.
