Victorian House design – Nottingham

We designed the space in this Victorian House to serve as a 6 bedroom accommodation.

The property had become dated. It still had magnolia walls and a lot of yellow tones, for instance. To address this, we replaced these yellow tones with other neutrals tones in soft whites and beiges as background colours.

The use of these soft background colours emphasised the large and bright space as well as reflecting the huge amount of natural light that flooded each room.

As the property was going to be rented out to professionals we had to keep the design simple to ensure it appealed to a mass market but, at the same time, making it unique. We achieved this by using a palette of soft tones of blues and greys that played on the neutral background.

For the bathrooms and kitchen area we used tiles from Topps Tiles and continued the colour theme into these rooms

The end result was a modern space that also felt mature and relaxed.
