Tattoo Studio Interior Design – Nottingham
We worked with No Woes Tattoo to redesign their tattoo studio in Nottingham.
The tattoo studio had a layout that was not working for the artists and did not have a cohesive design scheme. Which is why there was work needed to renew the overall design scheme; as well as a need for a reconfiguration of the whole space.
We discussed a number of tattoo studio interior design ideas and it was clear that the artists did not want a design that was Victorian-esque or dark and gloomy as most of their clients did not find that design aesthetic appealing.
We chose soft pinks and yellows with pops of green; and botanicals with a nod to industrial design.
The tattoo interior space has been reordered to accommodate clients and to make the space more efficient.
The tattoo studio was a large open plan area so we zoned the areas according to their functionality. At the entrance we created a reception separate from a dedicated space for the tattooists to work.
We turned the whole floor into an airy open-plan space reception where visitors can browse artist portfolios and wait for appointments; with segregated sections for the artists’ work .
This was a very interesting design project for us. If you go through the internet looking for tattoo interior design; you will not find much designed by interior designers.
